A holistic, human approach to health

I’ve always cared about health and wellbeing, but everything changed after losing a close friend to breast cancer shortly after moving to America. She was young, healthy, a mother to two small children - just like me - and her loss completely shifted my perspective on life and health.

It sparked a deep curiosity around how we can better support our bodies and minds through nutrition, lifestyle, hormone health, nervous system regulation and non-toxic living - not from a place of perfection, but from a desire to feel well and live well.

I’m Daniela - a mum of four, certified health coach, and someone deeply passionate about helping others feel their best from the inside out.

Through this space, I hope to share practical tools, gentle guidance and realistic ways to build healthier, more balanced lives - together.

Health coaching isn’t about fixing you - it’s about supporting you.

Can you define your work?

I’m a health coach supporting people to reconnect with themselves and build sustainable wellbeing from the inside out. My work centres on listening, self-awareness and helping clients create realistic lifestyle shifts that genuinely fit their lives. Rather than focusing on quick fixes, I support a deeper understanding of the body, mind and habits - so change feels supportive, not forced.

What does a “from the inside out” approach really mean?

It means starting with insight rather than instruction. We explore what’s happening beneath the surface - routines, energy, stress, and relationships with food, movement, rest and work - and use that understanding to guide meaningful change. There’s no single end goal; health is a lifelong journey of self-discovery, and I support you as that journey evolves.

How is health coaching different from medical care?

I don’t diagnose or prescribe, and I don’t replace medical care. What I offer is support in the space that’s often missed - helping you translate information into everyday life. I work alongside clients to bridge the gap between where they are now and where they’d like to be, using evidence-based and experience-led approaches. It’s a collaborative partnership focused on empowerment and long-term wellbeing.

What role do rituals and routines play in your work?

Rituals are foundational. Across cultures and generations, they’ve shaped the rhythm of everyday life. I often begin by exploring how a client’s days and weeks flow - how mornings begin, evenings unwind, and where movement, hydration and rest fit in. Simple, consistent rituals create grounding, calm and clarity, especially in busy lives.

Does your own life influence the way you work?

Very much so. I live in Westport, Connecticut, just north of New York City, and split my time between the energy of the city and the quieter pace of upstate New York. That contrast has shaped how I view balance, health and sustainability. I’m also a mother of four, which gives me a very real understanding of how full life can be - and how important it is that wellbeing practices are realistic, flexible and kind.

What kind of clients do you typically work with?

I work with people who want to feel more connected to themselves and their health - often those who are busy, stretched thin or at a point of transition. Many are navigating stress, burnout or shifting priorities, or simply want to feel better without rigid rules or pressure.

What have you learned about health over the years?

That adaptability matters more than perfection. Our needs change with seasons and life stages. Health isn’t static, and the most supportive approach is one that remains flexible, responsive and compassionate. I’ve also learned the importance of rest, nature, community and contribution in supporting overall wellbeing.

What would you say to someone considering working with you?

Your health and wellbeing are your greatest assets. Investing in them doesn’t mean doing more - it often means listening more closely, slowing down and learning what truly supports you. This work is about tuning back into yourself and building a way of living that feels sustainable, grounded and nourishing - from the inside out.
